  The recent international distributor meeting at Alicona was dominated by the training about new measurement systems for the 3D cutting edge measurement of drills, milling cutters and other tools. Also, major emphasize was placed on new developments of InfiniteFocus to be used as a micro coordinate measurement device. The Alicona headquarters presented new applications such as hob measurement, performed with the cuttinge edge measurement system IF-EdgeMaster. Also, 360° measurement of tap tools with the IF-ToolPrecision was introduced.

The meeting was followed by the 10th year anniversary party of Alicona. 2001 Alicona was a start-up company in the field of microscopy, whereas today the company is a leading supplier in the field of high resolution optical 3D metrology.
