Profile-Form: measure radii and angles of a profileWith the Profile-Form measurement users measure radii, angles, height steps and normal distances of a user defined profile. The requested profile is defined directly in the optical color image. Statistical evaluations include among others mean and standard deviations. Profiles are measured automatically. 3D-Form: measure radii and angles completely across the entire areaWith the optional module form measurement standard geometries with curved surfaceincluding s deviations of the target geometry are measured. The form is measured by the fitting of geometric primitives such as spheres, cones, cylinders etc. Form measurement also includes contour measurement. This is how users measure geometries like angles, distances, circles, incircles, circuits, thread pitches out of every perspective and oblique position. By measuring the contour InfiniteFocus also implements the measurement of roundness. Other features like commenting and documenting of measurements via text overlays allow easy data exchange and communication. Cutting edge measurementCutting edge measurement enables high resolution measurement of radii and angles of tools like drills and milling cutters. Radii are measured down to 2µm, angles down to 20°. With this users increase durability of their tools and guarantee best machining results. Cutting edge measurement of drills, milling cutters and tap tools Automation of measurement tasksRecurring measurements are automated easily and quickly. By using a simple language similar to Java Script, measurements are adjusted to individual tasks. A traditional application is the automatic surface analysis of valleys and depths. Focus-Variation as core technology of measurement modules
All measurement modules for measuring form and roughness are based on the Focus-Variation technique. Users measure also complex forms with steep flanks and geometries with smallest radii and angles in high resolution. Even with composite materials a vertical resolution of up to 10nm is achieved. With each measurement Focus-Variation provides information for estimating measurement uncertainty.The measurement modules apply for the InfiniteFocus standard measurement system, InfiniteFocus Real3D for optional 360° measurement, InfiniteFocus XLarge , IF-Portable for mobile measurement of large components and platen inspection as well as IF-Sensor and IF-Robot for in-line quality assurance.
