The roughness standard of Alicona is a verified standard to trace back optical roughness measurements. It is used to verify roughness measurement results performed with the optical 3D surface measurement device InfiniteFocus. Developed by Alicona, the roughness standard is traceable back to the PTB. This is how the precision of the optical technology Focus-Variation is verified. This standard does not only apply to the 3D measurement systems of Alicona. It is applicable to all ISO classified optical measurement methods.|
